I'm going to show you how I get more use out of my kids' clothes. AidenLee has this pair of overalls that he loves to wear, but there are two huge holes in the knees that his leg keeps getting stuck in, so I went to the fabric store and bought some scrap fabric, and let him pick out what color he wanted.

Materials

• needle
• thread
• pins
• square piece of fabric

Instructions

I started by stitching up the ends a little to make the hole a little more round. Now to pin the fabric in place, I sewed three rows to make it more secure. Trim any extra fabric and jeans.
