I cherish the countless wonderful memories from when Ben and I were newlyweds. Every Thursday, we indulged in delicious wings at our favorite spot, where each wing was just 60 cents. Inspired by those nostalgic nights, I decided to recreate the experience at home with my own wing recipe.

**Ingredients:**

– 1 lb chicken wings
– 1½ cups flour
– 1 teaspoon salt
– 1 teaspoon pepper
– 2 eggs
– 1 cup milk
– Oil for frying

**Sauce:**

– 1/4 cup Tabasco sauce
– 1/4 cup Louisiana hot sauce
– 1 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
– 2 teaspoons chili powder
– 2 teaspoons paprika
– 1 teaspoon vinegar
– 3 tablespoons butter
– 3 tablespoons flour
– 2 teaspoons garlic powder

**Instructions:**

1. Start by heating oil in a large pot over medium-high heat—this is the foundation for that perfect fry.
2. In a spacious bowl, whisk together the eggs and milk. Allow the chicken wings to soak in this rich mixture for about 5 minutes; this step ensures maximum flavor and tenderness.
3. In a separate bowl or Ziploc bag, combine the flour, salt, and pepper to create a flavorful coating.
4. Take the chicken from the milk mixture and coat each wing thoroughly in the dry mixture. This crispy exterior is key!
5. Gently place the coated wings into the hot oil, cooking until they reach a safe internal temperature of 165°F, ensuring they’re fully cooked and mouth-watering.
6. Once the wings are perfectly crisp, set them aside and carefully dispose of the hot oil.
7. In a medium saucepan over medium heat, melt the butter and whisk in the flour along with chili powder, paprika, and garlic powder. This mixture will give your sauce a rich and robust flavor.
8. As the butter melts, add the Tabasco sauce, Louisiana hot sauce, and Worcestershire sauce. Stir well, letting it simmer for 5 to 10 minutes to meld the flavors beautifully.
9. Coat the cooked wings in this tantalizing sauce—this is where the magic happens. Serve them up alongside ranch dressing, and don’t forget to smile!

These homemade wings are sure to become a favorite, bringing back the joy of those cherished Thursdays. Enjoy every bite!
