These pancakes are truly a favorite of mine, especially when drizzled with warm maple syrup, which adds an irresistible coziness to each bite.

**Ingredients:**
– ½ cup melted butter + 1 tablespoon room temperature butter
– 1 tablespoon molasses
– 1½ cups buttermilk
– 2 teaspoons vanilla extract
– 2 teaspoons maple extract
– 2 eggs
– 1½ cups flour
– ¼ cup sugar
– 2 teaspoons baking soda
– 1 tablespoon baking powder

**Instructions:**

1. Begin by heating a large skillet over medium heat to create the perfect cooking environment.

2. In a spacious bowl, whisk together the eggs, melted butter, buttermilk, vanilla extract, maple extract, and molasses until well combined.

3. Sift in the flour, sugar, baking powder, and baking soda, then mix the batter until smooth and free of lumps.

4. Melt the room-temperature butter in the skillet. Once it’s beautifully melted, ladle in the batter, watching as it cooks until bubbles begin to form on the surface.

5. Flip the pancake and cook until it achieves a delightful golden brown color.

Buttermilk Pancakes

Buttermilk Pancakes

Ingredients

  • a cup of melted butter + 1 Tablespoon room temp. butter
  • 1 Tablespoon of molasses
  • 1½ cups of buttermilk
  • 2 teaspoon of vanilla extract
  • 2 teaspoons of maple extract
  • 2 eggs
  • 1½ cups of flour
  • ¼ cup of sugar
  • 2 teaspoons of baking soda
  • 1 Tablespoon of baking powder

Instructions

    Heat a large skillet over medium heat. In a large bowl, whisk the eggs, melted butter, buttermilk, vanilla and maple extracts, and molasses. Now sift in the flour, sugar, baking powder, and baking soda. Mix the batter together until there are no more lumps. Take the room temp. Butter and melt it in the skillet, once the butter is melted. Ladle in the batter and let it cook until the top begins to bubble. Flip it, and the pancake finishes cooking until golden brown. Serve with butter and maple syrup.
